Tästä lähtee uuden Pessin jo perinteikkääksi muodostunut hypejuna. Kaikki mukaan tuut tuut! Keskiviikkonahan tuo juna virallisesti pihahti ensimmäistä kertaa tämän viestin muodossa: "Is the wait almost over? After the Official Site for PES2013 appeared to go live earlier this morning before it was locked up again, KonamiUK have since tweeted :

Friday. 11am. konami-pes2013.com. #pes2013"
@WENB

Tänään sitten pamahti juna ensimmäiselle stopilleen, josta matka jatkuu saman tien. Kuitenkin tällä stopilla faneille tarjoiltiin uutta PES 2013 sivustoa, sekä pientä teaserin pätkää, jota tähdittää kukapa muukaan kuin Cristiano Ronaldo:

Ja kuten teaserin perässä lukee, on seuraava maistiainen luvassa 24.4. eli kohta puolin, jolloin debyyttitraileri jysähtää ilmoille!! Luvassa tämmöistä:

"Just to clarify, the big reveal next week will answer a lot of your questions and set our stall for all things PES 2013. There will be details, fear not. A lot of detail...

Steve"

"So f*ck everything else. #PES2013 DEBUT TRAILER COMING APRIL 24TH. You have my word, that's the one you don't want to miss!!!!!!!!!!!! -Bhatti"

:eek::cool:

Sana on vapaa, jatkakaa.

No niin!

Iltaedit:

Adam Bhatti kysyttäessä vihjeitä PES 2013 kitanamediassa:

"I don't want to, seriously. It's not as long as I thought it would be, but it's still impressive to a degree.

I still feel it's more to do with what they are trying to convey to the fans, so it's a trailer that reveals more than before, but not as much as we want.

The press release is super strong, but not because it's a salesman speech, but because improvements are detailed intricately. Less 'we are amazing and we've doing crazy stuff!' but more details in how they've improved every element in the game. It also confirms some key changes to the game, which will make all of you guys very happy.

Finally the images link to the trailer, very nice but perhaps touched up a bit too much.

What's the most exciting part of the news is that we're flowing very quickly into bigger things. I think next Monday I'll be able to tell you some crazy shit."

Bhattin hypeveturi alkaa siis olemaan jo hyvässä vauhdissa, kuten totuttua.

Jon Murphy Twitterissä:

"Don't forget, the first PES 2013 announcement is due tomorrow, mixing live and in-game footage of CR7. #pes2013"

Dear PES-players,
We're writing to you as you participated – along with tens of thousands of other dedicated PES players from around the world – in our feedback survey.

We are changing and improving many features and aspects of PES this year and most of them have been specifically requested by fans like you.

We want to personally express our gratitude for your support and explain to you how your input has influenced this year’s development.

For example, you rated goalkeepers slightly above average to good – in other words: not good enough for PES. A common complaint about goalies concerned the lack of animations. Many of you also criticized how long it takes to bring the ball back into play after the goalkeeper catches the ball. To address the situation we sought advice from pro keepers and worked hard on AI. The result: far more options, many new animations and even different play styles.

Another example of how your feedback helped: many of you stated you prefer playing PES 2012 without use of any pass support. This inspired us to enable optional full manual passing and shooting. Thanks to new PES FullControl you can precisely place shots exactly where you want - if you can master the skills required of course!

Those are just a couple of examples of how your comments have helped. Visit our official website PES 2013 | Konami-PES2013.com later today to read more about our plans for this year. Keep checking back and we'll update you with exciting info screens as soon as they're ready.

So stay with us, follow us on facebook.com/PES, subscribe to our YouTube channel on officialpes - YouTube and you'll be among the first to learn about all the exciting news we'll have in the run up to the game release this autumn.

Again thanks for participating in the survey and giving our development team suggestions to make PES 2013 the most beautiful game. We're delighted to have such a great fan base that motivates us to work even harder to provide you with the best football experience!

Ja tässä traileri:

Ja alle vielä tuo pressiteksti kokonaisuudessaan:

Konami outline the way forward for the PES franchise with it’s first official press release for PES2013.

PES 2013: A Whole New Ball Game

Individuality and Full Control the key as PES 2013 moves the goalposts

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH will offer football fans an unprecedented level of control, when its PES 2013 title returns to the field this Autumn.

As befits a game endorsed by Cristiano Ronaldo – a player who embodies the skill and grace of top level football – PES 2013 sees the series returning to its roots, with the emphasis on the individual skills of the world’s best players, and giving the player the total freedom to play any style of ball, to any team mate, anywhere on the pitch. This follows further consultation with both football and PES fans alike, and the result is the most faithful recreation of modern day football to date, with players modeled to match the running motions, abilities and playing styles, and the flicks and turns of their real-life counterparts.

Three key elements form the basis of PES 2013’s innovations, with all new additions falling within the fields of PES FullControl, Player ID, and ProActive AI.

PES FullControl (PES FC): Never before has a football game offered such a level of control over the way it is played:

• Total Freedom of Control: PES 2012 introduced the concept of freedom of movement, with players making better runs through improved AI. The new ‘PES FC’ in PES 2013 goes further with total freedom over ball control.

• Dynamic First Touch: PES 2013 introduces subtle ways to receive the ball, from traps, gently lifting it past an attacker to run on to. First touch is everything and players can trap the ball using the R2 button, killing the speed of a well-hit pass and bringing it instantly under control, or using the momentum of the pass to turn a defender.

• Full Manual Passing and Full Manual Shooting: PES 2013 offers fully manual passing and shooting, allowing users to determine the height and power of each. Long low passes can be sent skimming across the pitch, while using L2 while shooting will give the user total control over where the pass or shot is placed. Skill and precision are needed to master these, but passes can be made into open areas, allowing lone strikers to thrive, while offering an unrivalled variety in ways to score.

• Dribbling: The speed with which a player moves with the ball has been slowed in line with real matches, but using R2 allows players to add various styles to their close control. Players can vary the speed of their dribbling, and cushion the ball as they move freely within a 360-degree circle. The new system allows players to knock a ball past a player and collect it, nutmeg them, or hold up play by shielding the ball as team mates find space and make runs.

• Full Manual One-Two: Active one-two passes can be made, with the second player being moved in any direction, facilitating various tactical movements.

• Response Defending: Countering the attacking options the new dribbling system offers, is a beautifully-balanced defence system. Players can use R2 and X to slow an attack, with a double-tap of the X button prompting a perfectly-timed challenge. Full 360-degree control means that players can check runs and steal the ball from a parallel position, while the individuality element will see world renowned defenders using aerial dominance of physicality to win the ball.

• Goalkeepers: Even the game’s ‘keepers benefit from more control, while their distribution is more precise thanks to the addition of a power gauge when they throw the ball, creating opportunities for new, quicker counter attacks.

Player ID: Player ID focuses on the individual elements and movements that each player boasts:

• Player Individuality: The very best players in PES 2013 will be instantly recognisable via incredible likeness and signature attributes that bring them to life. The way they run, turn, trap and move the ball, shoot and even celebrate will be noticeably different during play. Midfielders and defenders will move and track back mimicking the exact styles of the real thing, while strikers will shape to shoot just like the real thing.

• The individuality of movement has also been extended to between the posts. Goal keeping has been totally invigorated via new animations and play styles. New varieties of saves and reactions have been added to ensure the game’s ‘keepers are in line with the efforts of real shot stoppers. This level of realism also extends to the game’s top-rated goal keepers, with their moves to close attacks down, fling themselves to tip a shot past the post, and in-goal acrobatics benefiting from all new animations and AI.

ProActive AI: ProActive AI unites the control and realism, with players that will respond and find space as befits those at the top of their game:

• Balance of Play: The development team has worked closely with the PES fan base to eradicate any illogical elements to the way players move and run in PES 2013, with the ‘ProActive AI’ system enhancing the attack/defence balance elements, proper zonal movements to the defending unit to remove bunching in all areas, setting a harder to beat defensive line, and allowing for quicker counters from the wing-backs.

• Tactical Precision: The balance of play has also been enhanced in the play between defences and the front line, with greater organisation as the teams track back or pelt forward. This means players are set up to exploit space with quick counter attacks,

• Goalkeepers: Improvements to the goal keepers was voted the key advancement football fans wanted to see in PES 2013, and the team has worked hard with real keepers to ensure they respond with better reactions, pull off reflex saves, clear their lines effectively,.

PES 2013 will also boast better connectivity and atmosphere. The popular myPES application will extend the connectivity and communication between Facebook-using PES fans, while the game’s audio effects are being tied closer to the on-field action to provide the kind of buzz seen at top-tier matches, with crowds growing in excitement as their team starts to exert pressure.

“This is an exciting time to be part of the PES community, and PES 2013 marks a new level of control and a return to our key ethos of utter control and freedom,” commented Jon Murphy, European PES Team Leader. “PES 2013 will offer a new level of realism, with players on field no longer all running in the same manner, or making the same kinds of passes. Football is all about making magic happen with skill and precision, and PES 2013 truly encapsulates this. Fresh faces within the development team and some very exciting ideas will breathe new life into the PES series, and we look forward to showing what we can do in the coming months.”

Embargo Pessin videoiden ja muiden suhteen loppuu 30. päivä tätä kuuta, joten silloin varmasti luvassa enemmän infoa. Nyt kuitenkin Brasiliassa on jonkinlainen Pessin esittelytilaisuus, jossa myös Adam Bhatti on mukana ja raporttia varmasti jossain kohti on luvassa enemmänkin. Tässä muutamia poimintoja Pessin tämän hetkistä versiota pelanneilta:

Steve Merrett‏@steve_merrett

"Manual shooting going down a storm. Seen some beautifully-placed 25-yarders and so much more variety." (Manuaalilaukominen tapahtuu L2+laukaisunappi+vasen tatti)

"Just popped in to say hi

Brazil is awesome, PES has gone down very well.

I know you have many things you want me to say, but you know I can't, especially while I'm here. Embargo is end of the month, but when I'm back in the UK next week I'll try and help you understand improvements in usual ways.

I'll end by saying the press loved pretty much all the improved and new elements in the game, but the love for manual shooting (normal shooting is improved too), the new tackling system and Player ID were the ones that were mentioned first.

One from me is something you fans will understand, I never ever ever had to press super cancel once. It really is free Fingers crossed Konami don't change it!

OK, have a nice evening, I'll speak to you soon." -Bhatti

"Enjoying the event. Talking to everyone and some great feedback and impressions. So far so good! #PES2013Brazil" -Adam

"Press impressed with PES 2013. Also interesting to see @nachoortiz say he is playing with Real Madrid against Flamengo" -OnlyProEvo

Vastaus: Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 [PS3/X360 Hype]

edit. Asim Tanvir kirjoitti twitterissään, että veskoilla olisi omia torjuntatyylejä, uusia animaatioita ja niitä olisi muutenkin paranneltu.Traileriin ei vaan konami saanut näitä näytille... Asim siis pelannut peliä eilen. Lisäksi Asim kertoi Pessin saavan julkaisupäivänä ensimmäisen dlc:n, jossa tulee 20 autenttista La-Liga stadionia. :O

edit. www.officialplaystationmagazine.co....-on-preview-how-it-could-beat-fifa-this-year/ Pari poimintaa tuolta:

"It's the revamped shooting system that really shakes things up, with the addition of manual shooting resulting in our first few attempts soaring off towards the corner flag. Squeezing L2 as you shape up for a pop on goal sends the ball exactly where you’re aiming it with the left stick, so you can’t just thrust it left or right and hope to make the net bulge.

Additionally you can use the right stick to put swerve on the ball (push it left or right), add backspin (push forward) or execute a lob (pull back). It takes some getting used to, but eventually – somewhere around game seven – we curl in an absolute peach with Ronaldo. It offers a new level of control that sits naturally with the game’s more deliberate pace. “We couldn’t have a really zippy game and still have this level of control,” offers Murphy"

PES 2013 @ E3 – 2nd E3 Trailer! | Winning Eleven Next-Gen Blog

Toinen E3 traileri!!

Vastaus: Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 [PS3/X360 Hype]

Nättiä, niin nättiä! Vielä kun tuo player ID tulee dlc:n muodossa kasvamaan entisestään (alkuunhan noin 50 pelaajalle on värkätty tuo playerID ja dlc:illä luvattu lisää), niin jännä nähdä miten moni pelaaja tulekaan loppujen lopuksi käyttäytymään pelissä kuin irl itsensä.

Tekoäly näyttää menneen jälleen askeleen eteenpäin, mikä näin offlinepelaajalle on kyllä nannaa.

Vastaus: Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 [PS3/X360 Hype]

Vastaus: Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 [PS3/X360 Hype]

Brasilia, Argentiina, Chile, Uruguay...

Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 E3 preview (NGB)
Take a quick look at Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 (PES 2013) and you’ll probably come away with the impression that it’s a re-skinned version of last year’s effort. Given that Konami hasn’t made any dramatic changes to the engine, no-one would blame you either. However, once you pick up the pad and delve into the game yourself, it soon comes apparent that PES 2013 is a different beast entirely.

Without putting on the rose tinted glasses, it’s a similar situation to the PlayStation 2 era, where each iteration of PES appeared to be identical to the last in terms of visuals. However, it was a totally different story when you stepped onto the virtual pitch yourself. The more matches you played, the more you noticed the changes compared to last year’s version. It resulted in you slightly adjusting your style of play, but eventually you embraced the differences and enjoyed the game just as much as its predecessor, sometimes even more.

At a basic level, the above is probably the best way to describe PES 2013 in its current state. That said, it’s a description that doesn’t do the new features and changes justice. Whilst the visuals aren’t a massive step up when compared to PES 2012, the on-pitch action most definitely is. Trailers and press releases can only tell you so much about the likes of “Player ID” and “PES FullControl”, it’s playing a few matches that makes you aware of their impact on PES 2013′s gameplay.

Throughout the years, PES has managed to replicate player individuality quite well, but the introduction of “Player ID” seems to have elevated the overall quality to another level. As you’d expect, the traits of star attacking players such as Ronaldo, Xavi, Ozil, Iniesta and Kaka will stand out the most. Whether it’s the way they move with the ball at their feet or their iconic goal celebrations, PES 2013 mimics each action rather impressively. It’s not all about the attacking players either, as both defenders and goalkeepers have been lavished with some “Player ID” attention too. This includes the way Barcelona’s Puyol lunges for the ball when trying to dispossess an opponent, replicating his “on edge” style of defending in PES 2013 very well. Even the way Casillas comes out of his goal to catch a ball is present, further highlighting Konami’s desire to deliver an authentic as possible experience. The animations applied to some of these traits, whether it be Ronaldo’s running style or the way Iniesta intricately turns, are also quite impressive.

It’s these players that usually stand out when you watch a match on TV, so it makes perfect sense that PES 2013 is aiming to do exactly that. The only worry would be that players such as Ronaldo and Iniesta could become overpowered with the introduction of “Player ID”, but it seems like Konami has managed to keep play balanced in the early code. It’s a passive ability (or feature, if you will), which means you can’t really spam it. Rather than activate yourself manually, it happens naturally dependent on the player who is in control of the ball. Yes, if you’re a good player, you’ll be able to get the most out of the ability, but thankfully defending isn’t a mystery like PES 2012, which means you will be able to combat these players to a certain degree.

Hold the X button (PlayStation 3) and you’ll track the player with the ball, keeping your distance until you feel the need to tackle. Pressing R2 in conjunction with X will apply pressure, on most occasions hurrying the opposing player into make a decision. When you do want to tackle a simple double tap of X is required, with the timing of your button presses being key to actually winning the ball. It’s a system that works well, complimenting the attacking side of the PES 2013 and giving you the tools to combat the talents of attacking players. Not only that, but it highlights the “Player ID” aspects of star defenders such as Puyol, Ramos and Pique. It might not be immediately obvious, but the system also allows you to play the defensive style of your choice. Playing against Barcelona and want to get stuck in a little? You can do exactly that by applying lots of pressure and pestering the star players with challenges.

Fully manual shooting and passing is another major new addition to PES 2013, doing exactly what it says on the tin. However, the implementation of the feature isn’t exactly the most intuitive. The current code requires you to press L2 in conjunction with the shoot and pass buttons to perform a fully manual version of each action. It’s an awkward way of going down the manual route, introducing a needless extra button press when an option in the control settings would suffice. To add to that, to perform a manual low shot, you have to press L2 and triangle, which is a baffling decision when you consider the shoot button is actually square. Why not just put low shot at the beginning of the pressure sensitive spectrum when you press the shoot button? It’s the simplest and most intuitive option, rather than pressing another button entirely. Hopefully Konami realise the error of their ways before the game is released, as the manual shooting and passing featured in PES 2013 is actually really good. You have full control over where the ball goes, which means initially you’ll be misplacing passes and hitting shots near the corner flag as you attempt to release yourself from old habits. When you do get used to it, the satisfaction gained from completing a fully manual long pass or smashing home a shot is just amazing.

Beyond the improved passing (lofted passes in particular), shooting (much better than PES 2012, more weighty), AI runs and “Player ID”, the most impressive aspect of PES 2013 is the Deft Touch Dribbling. Again, it allows the star players to shine and show off their unique styles, but it’s the element of class it brings to the play that is most impressive. Performed by holding R2, players who understand its intricacies will find it to be an incredible tool for creating space and occasionally beating a defender or two. You don’t have to be in control of Ronaldo or Messi either, as smaller players likes Iniesta, Xavi and Ozil benefit from this feature too. It’s a fantastic feature, one you can only really full grasp when you play PES 2013 itself. Throw the Dynamic First Touch system into the mix and the on-pitch action gets even more interesting. Depending on the type of pass you receive you can attempt to control the ball exactly how you want. You’ll get mixed results depending on the control option you go for, but it’s another string in PES 2013′s realistic bow. Fancy trapping a long pass perfectly? Tap R2 and you can attempt to do exactly that, but you’re timing will need to be spot on if you’re going to be successful. Maybe you want to flick the ball as you receive it and beat the man near you. Sure, you can try and do that too. Press R3 as you receive the ball and the player you’re controlling will try it, but (again) timing is everything if you want to fully succeed. Even the AI will take advantage of the aforementioned features, occasionally making you look silly with a first touch flick over your head if you time a challenge poorly.

Headline features aside, Konami are placing great emphasis on improving the fundamentals too. Goalkeepers have been a bit of an Achilles’ heel for the last two years, but it seems like PES 2013 will do its very best to rectify that. Even at this early stage goalkeepers are much improved when compared to PES 2012. They not only exhibit occasional unique personal styles, but they catch the ball more often and attempt to push the ball away from the box where possible. Punches were more effective too, with the ball travelling longer distances rather than falling into danger areas, resulting in annoying rebound goals. Referees also seem slightly improved, making more realistic decisions and being quite consistent overall.

It’s hard to completely judge PES 2013 at this early stage, as Konami are bound to make plenty of tweaks and changes before the full release. As far as first impressions go though, the fact that it left yours truly and many others wanting go back for just one more game speaks volumes. Make no mistake about it, on a visual level it’s essentially the same as its predecessor, but on the pitch (where it matters) PES 2013 is so different. It’s more open, more considered and (importantly) much more fun. There are a few niggles that need to be ironed out before release, especially the implementation of manual passing and shooting. However, if it lives up to the potential and promise shown at E3 2012, PES…no, football fans have reason to be excited when PES 2013 is released later this year.
