Unfortunately now that you have setup your XBOX LIVE account there is no way of changing the country that you registered with.
You can change other information like address and billing information in the "Account management" section of the XBOX LIVE dashboard but not the country.
There will be no effect to your account and you will use the service as you have done so previously.
If you feel that is essential to change this then you will have to cancel your present subscription and purchase a new starter kit and register a new account.
