THPS 5 in 2004?

We haven't heard anything about THPS 5 since the 4th game was announced. In fact, it was so long ago, I couldn't even find the news bit in the site archives. Regardless, the new issue of EGM hit my mailbox yesterday and there's a few THPS related things to mention, the first being THPS 5!
In their Gossip section, they mention that the series, "...may take a year off." This means there may not be the annual THPS event in October. Of course, this is just their rumor section...but if it is true, we here at PTH have a loooong break ahead! We'll have to wait and see, but we did get 4 games in a mere 36 months. Can't really complain about that!!!
Additionally, their Afterthoughts section features an interview w/ Producer Scott Pease. He confirms that Dasiy is indeed based on Jenna Jameson (our cryptic PotD from a few weeks ago). There's also a quick interview w/ Tony Hawk who admits he's a "closet Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer fanatic."
