Tarvitset siis tietenkin PS3:n, jossa toimii PS2:n pelit
Tässä vielä ohjeet:
First you need: swapmagic 3.6+ or 3.8 and for example this
( "sensuroitu linkki" )
The download contains ulaunch which I used (it's SMBOOT2.ELF in SWAPMAGIC folder) not sure what version it is, but it's working. You also need an usb stick where you place the downloaded files (ulaunch + saves)
To prepare you usb stick (I use 16gb cruzer micro u3) extract the downloaded .rar and place the files from the folder USBADVANCE to the root of your stick.
Now place the save games where you want on the stick. Save games need to be in the format which they are in when you extract .psv using PSVExporter ( "sensuroitu linkki" ). You have for example a folder called BESCES-53300SOCOM3 which usually contains 3 files (in this case for socom3) BESCES-53300SOCOM3-file, icon-file and LIST-file.
Now you can connect the stick to your usb port.
I have swap magic 3.8 and the steps for v.3.8 are:
1. Launch the swap magic
2. select smboot
3. there you can selet smboot0, smboot1 etc. select smboot2
4. now you see the ulaunch menu, press any directional button and the select config by pressing O.
5. Now select default and press O and you should see file structure strarting with mc0
6. Select folder called misc, press O, and you see filebrowser
7. Select the filebrowser by pressing O
8. Now select ok by pressin O (again ) and the filebrowser should start automatically in 10 seconds.
9. Now you will see the same looking file structure you saw earlier. Folder named mass is your usb stick. Open it by pressing O.
10. Select the save game folder you have
(named for example BESCES-53300SOCOM3) click R1 and you should see menu where you can select to copy the folder and press O to copy it.
11. Now you can press triangle to go back to the root of the directory. In there you see mc0 and mc01 folders, which are you ps2 memory cards (virtual memory cards, which you can assing by pressing the ps button and configuring the memory cards). Now select the card you want to copy the saves to by pressing O.
12. Press the R1 and you select paste.
13. Now you should have working ps2 save games
You can use ps2save-builder from here ( "sensuroitu linkki" ) to unpack most of the save formats like codebreaker. You can find savegames from here http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/
The program will unpack the save files to a file which you can then copy to your ps3 according to the method I posted earlier.
