CHANGES & NEW FUNCTIONALITY

- Network - Lag fixes and fixes for network errors 10002, 8001 and 8013
- Gameplay - Players now have more stamina by default. Sprint length is increased but the recharge timer has been adjusted to compensate
- Gameplay - Mortally wounded players no longer have collision. Alive players should now be able to traverse the levels without getting stuck on mortally wounded players
- Gameplay - Medic's revive cool-down reduced from 25 to 10 seconds
- Gameplay - Increased range from where friendly players can be revived - player can be revived from 20 meters now
- Gameplay - Guerrilla Warfare games now last 15 minutes and it takes 100 kills instead of 50 to win
- Performance – Improvements to party creation server load
- Menu - Show envelope icon to indicate that player has received message
- Menu - Rewards panel in post game screen now auto-scrolls
- Menu - Botzone is now paused when player goes to start menu
- Menu - Single click squad invite
- Menu - Enhanced idle detection code in menu, the player isn’t spawned if he’s still pressing buttons
- Security - Several security, anti hack and cheat fixes

BUG FIXES

- Stability – Fix for an occasional crash bug when in the Credits screen and transitioning straight into Multiplayer via a Invite
- Stability – Fix for potential hang when players migrate between maps
- Gameplay - Player can retain crouched collision after deploying jetpack
- Gameplay - The Assassination Executioner medals only count Deadly Assassin kills, not Executioner kills
- Gameplay - Cloak kills with weapons that break cloak now count towards medal for -Cloak levels 1 and 2.
- Gameplay - Global - Medic’s Triage droids now disappear when player quits out of -game
- Gameplay - Cloak/Disguise cannot be removed manually by accident anymore
- Gameplay – Fix for rumble in Exo being over-powered and out of sync
- Gameplay – Fix for Silent Footsteps remaining active after choosing other skill and removed from the personal stats menu
- Exploit - Akmir Snowdrift - Player can reach the boat by using an ammo box to exit the intended boundaries
- Functionality – Disc eject now handled more gracefully
- Trophies - DLC 1 ‘Little Big Weapons’ Trophy does now counts rocket launcher and StA2
- Clan functionality – Fix for player quitting and re-joining a tournament, they may re-enter a tournament alone.
- Menu - Find game – Operations - Mode description - Spelling issue fixed
- Menu - Friends: Fix for Clan tags being displayed for a max of nine players despite the number of player that are in the clan
- Menu – Fix for incorrect message given when attempting to join a Clan Game that an online friend is taking place in
- Menu - Spawn-screen – Fix for when the extra Primary Weapon skill is equipped, the weapon description goes out of sync
- Menu - Accolades do now show subsequently
- Menu - When receiving a squad invite from a player in another match, there is now a warning that the player will leave his current game.
- Menu - Scramble detailed range and in-game range now match properly
- Menu - The Spot and Mark description in the unlock menu is now correct
- Menu – Fix for when the player presses the SQUARE button when a player that is in their game is highlighted in the squad lobby menu they receive the message ‘You cannot join a play that is not in a game.’
- Menu - Turn off animations for the squad list to avoid it becoming unreadable every time a rebuild occurs when voice chat is activated
- Menu – Fix for when trying to join a friend without the required DLC pack, the message will tell the player they are part of a squad.
- Menu – Fix for the message informing the player they are attempting to join a DLC game without the required DLC content installed reading better
- Menu - Increased Accuracy & Faster Reload Ribbons now update in the personal statistics screen.

Toiki kyl jees et guerillaski noi tapot nostettu ku ei oikee ole napannu toi pelimuoto aikasemmin ku loppuu 1-2min sisäl erä ja saa odottaa koko ajan uutta :( Totaki varmaa tulee enemmän pelailtuu varsinki yksin silloin ku ei kfiniläisten kans pelaa.

Kyllä nyt kelpaa pelata medicinä. 20 metrin etäisyys ja 10sek cooldown kohottaa luokan käytännöllisyyden ihan pilviin. Sprinttaillakin pystyy nyt huomattavasti pidempään (ongelma erityisesti medicillä) eikä kitujat pääse kiusaamaan blokkimalla. Pienetkin muutokset tekee pelatessa suuren vaikutuksen. Ei niitä medicejä kyllä pelissä paljon näkynyt, mutta luulisi niiden lisääntyvän tämän myötä. Toivottavasti päivitystahti saadaan pidettyä hyvänä ettei mene vuosia ennen kuin ne kaikki luvatut asiat on peliin saatu.

Please Note: this is subject to change and we don't know exactly when this will go live yet. I will inform you on that as soon as we can, but we are trying to roll this out in the first week of April.

Gameplay



* Bullet Damage and Faster Aim ribbon now unlock correctly
* Separate turn speeds for ADS on Primary weapons in Multiplayer
* Increased Accuracy ribbon effectiveness has been lowered

Single Player Campaign



* Scrapyard Shortcut - Mobile Factory – Fixed a hang to a red Debug screen upon the user reaching the Jetpack Troopers


Menu



* Added a “Mute all” button
* Updated icons and text on the Medals statistics
* Fixed clipped text for moderator messages
* The Faster Reload ribbon now updates properly on the Personal statistics page
* The Increased Accuracy ribbon now updates properly on the Personal statistics page
* The Bullet Damage ribbon now updates properly on the Personal statistics page
* Fixes a hang when accepting a squad invite on the final results screen of an online game
* Fixed the Pause functionality in Botzone on the Class selection screen
* "Squad menu" is changed to "manage players” in the menu



Move/Sharpshooter



* Button configuration improvements - Swapped L1/L2 grenade and aim
* Melee is now on the circle button
* Multiplayer - Aim Lock will now time out after one second
* Camera turn upped while using jetpack. Lowered for mounted weapons



Explanation of Custom Games



Custom Games will be rolled out in 2 patches. This one (1.07) and a future patch. We don't know when this will be yet.



PHASE ONE


Phase One of Custom Games gives players the option to create unranked games with the choice of:

* Game Mode
* Map
* Missions (Warzone only)
* Mission Time (Warzone only)
* Invite Squad members
* Invite Enemy Squad Leader

This gives players the ability to create private matches, and playing with and against friends or a rival clan for instance. People who don’t get an invite to these games won’t be able to join through matchmaking.



PHASE TWO


We still need to spec this out, so this is subject to change, but we are looking to add the options of choosing:



* More configuration options for missions in Warzone and Operations
* Adjustable kill count for Guerrilla Warfare
* Configurable Unlocks (choose which one you want to play with)
* Configurable Classes (choose which one you want to play with)
* Configurable Weapons, Abilities, Skills, Ribbons
* Friendly Fire On/Off
* Brutal Melee On/Off

"Hi all,

Next Monday we are planning some server maintenance. We expect an hour of downtime from 11:00am GMT to 12:00.

The result will be:

1.Improved balancing rules to make sure empty factions/games get balanced better and quicker.
2.A fix for Guerrilla Warfare games where scores were not correctly processed.
3.People with a slower connection sometimes experience ghost players in their game. This has been fixed. The symptoms of this were:
•Other players that quitted the game remain present in game (standing still and cannot be killed)
•Other players that quitted the game are shown on the leaderboards.
•When the player rolls over to the next round, he gets stuck in the connection screen.
Please note: this is not the next patch. These are server side fixes only. I will be listing details of the next patch in a separate post shortly.

The next patch is incoming. We don’t know exactly when the patch will be released yet, but we are aiming for the beginning of next week. It will go live at the same time world wide and we will also be doing a server update around that time to support the patch.

Patch 1.08 Contents list:

•Fix for DLC map rotation - Matchmaking will make the closest possible match based on the maps players have and other players online. All maps will be included in the map voting when rolling over to the next round
•Fix for a network error (5022) after respawning in Pyrrhus Crater
•Fix for a crash in Kaznan Jungle at the end of the round
•Fix for a crash in 16 user Custom Games on Corinth Highway

1.09-päivitys on tulossa toiveiden mukaan 2.6. eli huomenna:

Functionality
  • Added Colour blind support – When turned ‘On’ all enemy players and objects will be underlined. This is the case for the minimap and in-game, such as player names.
  • Frozen Dam – Operations – The first mission in is now 6 minutes again
  • Move - Fixed continuous rumble when the PlayStation Eye camera connected
  • Move - When interacting with a Search & Destroy objective the player will no longer also do a melee
  • Junkyard - Players can no longer get in an Exoskeleton while using a Jetpack
  • Blood Gracht – Fixed a hang when the Recon ability was used
  • Fixed a bug where the clan rating decreased after the clan had won a Warzone tournament game
  • Fixed a hang on the joining screen after the player was kicked (or quit) a game
  • Clans – Fixed an issue where all users received the error 2- (scores cannot be processed) when entering a Guerrilla Warfare match
  • Fixed a crash when connecting to a custom Warzone game
  • Fixed a hang when a player with DLC sets up a custom game to start on a DLC map, transfers the leadership to a non-DLC user and this new leader attempts to start the game
  • Fixed a 10006 network error when joining a Guerrilla Warfare game

Gameplay
  • Fixed various collision issues on DLC maps
  • Frozen Dam - Warzone - Fixed a spot where players could get stuck behind an ammo crate and an oil drum near the Dam tactical spawn point.
  • Accepting a squad invite from the opposing faction will no longer quit the game.
  • Corinth River - Botzone – Fixed an issue with Bots falling through the map
  • Corinth River - Botzone – Fixed a crash in Botzone

Exploit
  • Blood Gracht - Fixed a spot where players can get out of the map
  • MAWLR Graveyard - Operations - Fixed a spot where players can get out of the map during the second objective that should only be accessible once the objective is completed.
  • Salamun Market – Fixed a spot where, using an Exoskeleton, the player could escape the confines of the map
  • Bilgarsk Boulevard - Fixed a spot where players can get out of the map
  • Stahl Arms – Fixed ISA members accessing the Helghast base without being seen by turrets
  • Players now get the XP they earned after getting kicked from a game

User Interface
  • Expanded the information about the Multiplayer status of a friend in the XMB. It will now show the game mode and the map that the player is in.
  • In some cases players would still experience Scoreboard flickering. This has been fixed
  • Silent Footsteps icon is now properly visible in game
  • Fixed an issue with Clan Leaderboards after switching clans
  • Small Localization fixes
  • Updates to loading screens
  • Clan Tag now updates properly after disbanding a clan
Campaign - Elite emblem now updates properly
Fixed a network error when downloading DLC via the main menu 'Downloadable Content' option

Graphics
  • Fixed various graphical glitches on DLC maps
  • Fixed an issue with the Search and Retrieve object for the Marksman when cloaked
  • Retro Pack – Fixed an issue with the minimap
  • Stahl Arms – Fixed an animation problem for players standing on top of the mechanical welding arm. They moved unrealistically when observed by other players

Päivitys versioon 1.10 julkaistu ja changelogilla on taas kivasti mittaa. Uutta on mm. pelkästään squadin kesken toimiva chatti sekä mahdollisuus soittaa omia biisejä Pleikkarin kiintolevyltä moninpelin aikana.

NEW FEATURES
Custom Games, Part 2. Additional information can be found at the bottom of the article, but it will include: choosing abilities, weapons and careers, as well as toggling functionality such as ribbons, skills and explosives.
Squad Only Chat. This is still an experimental feature and may not always function as expected.
Playing Audio/Music from your PS3 during MP games.
Marksman Improvements:
Cloak rippling effect has been increased.
Cloak now ripples with increased intensity when firing non silenced weapons.
Transition from uncloaked to cloaked has been extended.
A cloak fade transition between moving and not-moving has been introduced (player no longer snaps out of view).
Distance Indicator for off-screen medics.
Matchmaking. We will now make players switch faction automatically at the end of a round if teams are unbalanced. Note that this will only affect players that are not in a squad or that have sent an invite to create a squad, and that it will not happen at all in Clan games or Custom Games.
You can now only submit another grief report for the same person if at least 7 minutes have elapsed since the previous one.

Single Player Campaign
Icy Incursion/Providence Bay: Cutscene between last two sections has overlapping audio.

Botzone
Stahl Arms: Fixed Helghast Bots running into the ISA basecamp to get killed by base turrets.

User Interface
Silent Footsteps icon skill now displays properly.
Updated invitation messages for squad invites.
Clans: Tournament boards for ‘All Time’ now update properly.
Player's PSN ID is shown in the lobby instead of the PS3 console's user name.
Fixed the Statistics screen – progression bars update properly now.
Implemented a minimum match count (15 matches) for Clans to enter the Leaderboard.

Multiplayer
Improved performance on Salamun Market.
Fixed an issue where a squad invite would send players to the wrong squad.
Clans: Fixed a crash upon entering a clan match and immediately quitting the match.
When entitled to the "3 unlock points" bonus multiple times you'll now receive all those unlock points at once instead of only 3 each time you log in.
Exoskeletons no longer look broken after repairing them and getting in.
Some audio fixes for Brutal Melee.
Fixed several graphical glitches.
Fixed several collision issues and spots where players were able to escape the bounds of the map – in Kaznan Jungle, Pyrrhus Crater, Akmir Snowdrift, Bilgarsk Boulevard, MAWLR Graveyard and Bloodgracht.
Akmir Snowdrift: Fixed issues where ISA members were able to reach the Helghast basecamp and also reach the second objective area, during the first round of Operations.
MAWLR Graveyard: Fixed an issue where ISA sentry drones would crash en route to the spawn location.
Stahl Arms: Altered the boundaries for the western capture point to make them more realistic.
The Junkyard: Fixed a couple of ammo crates that were unreachable from certain sides.
Frozen Dam: Fixed the issue of ISA players being able to deliver the speaker through the floor by jumping on top of an ammo crate.

CUSTOM GAMES DESCRIPTION

Missions
Warzone Mission Timers can now be altered. Added times varying from 4 to 60 minutes for missions.
Guerrilla Warfare received additional options to the Kill Count: 10, 25, 75, 100 and 200 kills.
Scavenge and Retrieve were removed from the Warzone game mode list, as it is not playable in Warzone.

Unlocks
This is a new field where you can choose options for Unlocks. The three options are:
As Unlocked (Default): This will take the career unlocks you've earned online and give you access to them in the custom games.
Lock All: Nothing is unlocked, simulating what a player would see if they started the game at Rank 1 with no unlock points.
Unlock All: Everything is unlocked, as it is in Botzone.
Custom Unlocks: Configure Unlocks the way you want them.

Careers
By default all careers are ‘ON’. You can turn every career ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’ that, but one career must be selectable at all times.

Settings
Other game settings can be configures here. Options available to you are:
Primary Weapons: Choose between All Weapons/Only Rank 1 Weapons/Rank 1 & 2 Weapons.
Secondary Weapons: Choose between All Weapons/Only Rank 1 Weapons/Rank 1 & 2 Weapons. Please note that this will be grayed out if 'Lock All' is selected under Career Unlocks.
Primary Abilities: Choose between All Abilities/Only Rank 1 Abilities/Rank 1 & 2 Abilities.
Secondary Abilities: Choose between All Abilities/Only Rank 1 Abilities/Rank 1 & 2 Abilities. Please note that this will be grayed out if 'Lock All' is selected under Career Unlocks.
Explosives: Choose between All Explosives/Grenades Only /Prox. Mines Only/None.
Friendly Fire: Choose ON or OFF.
Skills: Choose ON or OFF.
Ribbons: Choose ON or OFF.
Melee: Choose ON or OFF. This can turn off all forms of Melee, including Brutal Melee and Rifle Butts.

Enhanced Mission Settings
Each mission mode in Warzone has an additional setting to configure:
Assassination – Survive Time: This will add 2, 3, 4 and 5 minutes.
Search and Retrieve – Speaker Returns: This will allow for additional or less returns (1, 2, 4 and 5 returns).
Search and Destroy – Diffuse-Place Explosive Time: This will allow for a modifier to adjust the time (half time, double time, triple time).
Bodycount – Kill Count in Warzone: This will allow for additional kills (50, 75, 100 or 200).
Capture and Hold – Capture Points: This will allow for more or less points needed to win.

CAREERS:
Changed Marksman’s scramble ability into an active ability – The marksman scramble ability now needs to be activated and deactivated via the d-pad, and has a cooldown period.
Increased tracking response for engineer turrets – The turn speed of turrets has been increased, allowing them to track players more easily.
Increased armor for engineer turrets (30%) - Turrets can still be destroyed by a single explosion from a grenade or missile launcher.

WEAPONS:
Improved StA-2 Battle Pistol - Detonation time for the StA-2 Battle Pistol’s grenade is shorter, and the damage it deals is more severe.

MAPS:
Added realtime projector to MP15 Radec Academy – A realtime projector has been added to the theater room, projecting onto the large wall with two doors.

SOUND:
Toned down overly enthusiastic death screams – Aieeeeaaargh!

MATCHES:
Increased mission points in Warzone – There is more of an incentive to go after mission objectives now.
Doubled cooldown time on mortars – Cooldown time was increased from 30 to 60 seconds to avoid spamming the Search & Destroy mission area.
Fixed tournaments not ending as soon as one clan leaves.
Fixed clans being able to rejoin games that were already finished – Clans used these exploits to boost their game wins and climb the leaderboards.
Reduced wait time at end of the round – The wait time was brought down from 60 to 45 seconds.
Reduced pre-game wait time at end of the round – The wait time was brought down from 30 to 20 seconds.

INTERFACE:
Added menu option to disable Sixaxis-only actions – Sixaxis-only actions can now be switched off in the menu, so players only have to press ‘O’ to start an action. This will make Killzone 3 more accessible to disabled players.
Added map name to spawn screen – The map name can be seen in the top left, under the titles.
Tuo kuolinhuutojen säätö lienee yksi "hauskimmista", mitä on tullut päivityksien changelogeissa vastaan kautta historian. :)
