eli tietääkö joku täällä että onko se totta vai ei koska haluasin tilata trauma centerin mutta sitä ei löysy kuin importtina

Taitaa tuo Freeloader tukea vain Cuben pelejä, olisikin liian hyvää jos se tekisi saman Wii peleille

To make it short, Nintendo Wii consoles and software are region encoded. We have tested a large variety of games from different publishers on our systems and are confident to confirm that a full region lockout exists. This applies to Nintendo Wii as well as Gamecube software alike.
Partially good news though for users that wish to play back import Gamecube games on their Wii system. Datel's Action Replay has been tested and allows playback of Japanese Gamecube games on a US Wii system. Though we have read reports about older Freeloader versions to be running as well, the current version (1.06B) has been tested by us and is not working. An updated version of the Freeloader is likely to appear but we will post an update as soon as it happens.
Update (Dec 2nd): And it happened faster than we expected. We received a new shipment of Datel's Freeloader, which is confirmed to be compatible with the Nintendo Wii as well. All Freeloaders shipping from December 4th will be the new version, now also allowing import Gamecube game playback on the Wii.
Update (Dec 4th): Freeloader and Action Replay are only confirmed to work on US VERSION Wii systems. Both items failed to boot on the Japanese Version Wii console.

Unlike the PlayStation3 - which is region free for PS3 games, supports multilingual onscreen text and allows you to connect to any regional PlayStation network (providing you have a valid residential address in the selected territory), the Nintendo Wii is fully region encoded in terms of Wii/Gamecube/Virtual Console playback and does not support multilingual onscreen text.

Tyhmähän Nintendo olisi ollut jos se olisi Wiistä aluevapaan tehnyt. Eihän se laite olisi Euroopassa myynyt yhtään kun se maksaa täällä maasta riippuen sen 250-300 euroa ja Japanissa vähän reilu 160 euroa. Sieltä se olisi tullut halvemmaksi tilata.

Jenkkikone olisi houkuttelevampi, mutta vain osittain.
Pelien importtaaminen PAL-koneelle sen sijaan olisi koneiden importtaamista yleisempää. Vaikea uskoa, että silläkään olisi Nipalle suurta merkitystä.
Eivätkä tilaisi. Japanilaisen Wiin valikoiden kieli on japani. Koneen käyttö vaatisi erillisen muuntajan hankkimista. Takuut eivät toimisi. Hintaan tulisi mukaan rahdit ja tullit.Salmari sanoi:

Mitä se aluevapaus siihen vaikuttaa jos kerran sekä konsoli että pelit ovat ulkomailla halvempia? Tilaat konsolin Japanista ja pelit Japanista, mielestäni aluevapaudella ei ole tekemistä tämän kanssa. Itselläni on Wiin jenkkiversio ja saan nauttia halvoista USA-peleistä. Olisihan se joku random-alelaaripeli mukava hakea silloin tällöin Anttilasta, mutta parempi näin.Salmari sanoi:
