Codemasters on vahvistanut tuovansa ensimmäisen persoonan räiskintäpelin nimeltä Shoot to Kill: Colombian Crackdown GameCubelle.
Game developers are complacent with first-person shooter games, relying on better graphics and broadband gameplay to spice up ageing dinosaurs. Message boards are full of criticism for over-hyped FPSs that simply dont take the genre any further. We intend to totally reinvent the cliched first-person shooter, move it on, deliver a fresh gameplay experience and show gamers what they've been missing for years," kommentoi yhtiön edustaja Raeburn.
Peliä kehittää mm. TOCA Race Driverin tehnyt kehitystudio ja se sijoittuu nykypäivään, jossa pelaajan on huumepoliisina murtauduttava syvälle Kolumbian alamaailmaan.
Shoot to Kill julkaistaan GameCuben lisäksi myös PlayStation 2:lle, Xboxille ja PC:lle. Se julkaistaan Euroopassa ennen vuoden 2003 loppua.
