One of the new features we’ve included in FIFA 12 is the ability to take control of the goalkeeper during head-to-head games. Right now, that’s possible in all game modes, online or off. By pressing the Back/Select button on your controller when your opponent has the ball, you can take over the goalkeeper and temporarily leave the rest of your team to the CPU.
While this is a feature we put in to add a little more variety, depth and fun to the gameplay experience for you, some of your feedback so far suggests it could be something exploited during online competitive gameplay.
As ever, we study your feedback very closely, so once the game arrives and you’ve had a chance to play a good number of online games and had a chance to see how people behave, we’d love to hear more. Do you like it in offline game modes, against your friends or the CPU? And what do you make of it in competitive online games – whether that’s Head to Head or Online Friendlies?
The more feedback we get based on your actual experience with the game, the better we’ll be able to assess what we can do for the benefit of the FIFA 12 community in this regard.
Looking forward to your comments...
