Jos joku ei tiedä kuka on mysteerinen professori, niin käykää ihmeessä tutustumassa:

No kumminkin pointti tässä on nyt se, että tässä tulee hieman "synkempää" kommenttia Xboxsista japanissa:
I really shouldn't be writing this since I'm actually in a tight schedule, but I think I'll forget unless I note it while it's still in my mind, so here it goes.
As I was out around the city to buy ink cartridges for my printer, I saw the Xbox in display in a few shops. I swear that Microsoft must be paying those shops some heavy amount of money, because they all changed the look of their shop to green & black, with the X logo all over the place.
Anyway, a few first points.
1- The machine
The machine is big. really, really big. Outbeats my 3DO. And It eats up a whopping 200 WATTS.
The LE edition is nice. However, it's not really skeleton- it's smoke black with semi-transparency, kind of hard to actually see the inside. Same with the controllers (the JP version is much better than the US, but it can still perfect a bit more in size).
2- The Games
Only 2 games were really on display- DOA3 and JSRF. JSRF looks really nice and smooth- think DC version with more details, special effects, and higher res. DOA3 seems pretty much the same as the US version, except I think the opening is different. Christie comes out in her red suit, goes into her car and takes out a wire with blood dripping down as she gets surrounded by enemies.
3- Bug reports
Lots of Really weird bug reports coming out for the Xbox right now.
I- Stripes
People are saying that they get stripes on their screen when they use the machine. Even some machines on store display seem to have them. Possibly a protection scheme like in DVD, but for a videogame? Sounds silly.
II- Battery life
Users are complaining that the battery life (ie: the internal clock) is extremely short lasting. Apparently, it doesn't even last for a full day after about an hour of the machine being on.
III- CD-R
CDR apparently can't be recognized by the machine. Can ba a killer of playing BGM for Project Gotham.
IV- Games Get scratches
Game disks gain scratches outside of the read area while playing.
V- Game either has, or gets Rings
Either they're there before the purchase or they accumulate during use, games played in the Xbox get/have "rings" on them. They look like rings in a typical "ring protection" for PC games, exept everyone who owns the Xbox seems to find them in different numbers in different areas of their disks. Especially with JSRF.
VI- Games won't work
Like a machine that's been used too much, Xbox seems to sometimes not recognize the game/disk when it's put in. Only thing is, this machine's only been out in apan for about 2 days. (eek)
Ja hyvät puolet koneessa ovat...? No joo... , mutta "vaihteeksi" tämmöistä komenttia... ja onhan tämä sentään konsolisota-alue
