I'd like to start by saying, I play warhark with the sixaxis and have a little hobby of flying my remote control chopper around. So with that in mind, I found the controls in lair quite good. Instead of making sharp and hard turns with your controller (which is a common thing peeps do), just make small controlled motions. Frame rate slows a little during big battles, and there's some tiling in the textures here and there. But looking back over the game now I've finished I realize I have some fond gameplay memories.

Too many fanboys are creating a reality distortion effect around this game (4 out of 5 stars, on Amazon, wtf). I bought it, wish I hadn't. All those professional reviewers aren't wrong, the controls strangle an otherwise great game. In fact I'd call it a case study of a AAA title brought down to the D level thanks entirely to its awful controls. I strongly suggest you rent or borrow the game before spending $60 on it.

Wonderful graphics and awesome gameplay. The sixaxis works great, allthough it takes some practice to completely control the dragon. Enjoy!

It gets a 2 for its beauty. Gameplay is horrible (mainly due to the control issues) and the story makes little to no sense. I feel betrayed as I was so excited for this game.

Awesome Game, awesome presentation and great gameplay... The low ratings are really not fair!

Negatives: There is some mild framerate chugging in very busy levels. The dueling where you slide up next to the other dragon could have been better implemented. Positives: Top notch graphics and sound. Interesting game world. Also, the control scheme (I may be the only one, but I think they are great).

Very underrated, beautiful game that once you get the hang of the controls isnt at all hard and is very enjoyable; good story and very addictive gameplay.
