A new Snooker 19 update (1.05) is rolling out for PS4, Xbox 1 and PC players today.

Update 1.05 paves the way for two things:

  1. Changes coming to Online Tournaments next week.
  2. Bigger game updates to improve and evolve Snooker 19 that will follow in the coming weeks.
There’s a lot to cover in both of these, so let’s run through both in more detail…

1) Changes coming to Online Tournaments

The Lab42 Pre Season Invitational tournament raised a number of issues and a lot of feedback, which has helped us to make changes and fix issues ahead of the next tournament starting. The patch that goes live today includes:

  • Fix for online tournament reward delivery
  • Fixes for incorrect leaderboard rankings
  • Fix for empty leaderboard rankings
  • Fix for crashes caused by empty leaderboards
  • Improvements to online connectivity
The next tournament will now start on Monday 10th June. This allows time for everybody to get the update and for us to run server updates necessary for the next tournament to start.We’re sorry that the previous tournament didn’t run smoothly and we’re working hard to make sure that all future events perform better. Thank you for your patience and for sharing so much feedback with us. Thank you also for all of the detailed responses you shared in the online survey we created. Your feedback played a big part in helping the dev team to track down the bugs and make improvements for the next tournament.



2) Bigger game updates to improve and evolve Snooker 19

We’re working on a lot of things that will evolve Snooker 19 based on the feedback we’ve received from our players so far, the good and the bad, so thank you to everyone who has taken the time to get in touch with us. We appreciate the time it takes for you to do this and we can assure you that we’re reading every post, comment and email from you, so please keep sharing your thoughts with us as the game moves forward. We’ll share dates and full patch notes in detail when each update is ready to go live, but in the meantime we can give you more of an idea about some of the things we’re working on:

  • Custom online matches, including the option to set number of frames
  • Gameplay improvements, including collisions on the knuckle of a pocket, changes when nominating colour, reposition the cue ball
  • AI and difficulty improvements, including long pots, aiming aid, shot selection, cueing angles impeded by cushions
  • Commentary improvements, including fixes to incorrect calls and the flow of commentary throughout a match
  • Career mode improvements, including new trophy celebrations
  • Character and lighting improvements, including fixing customisation preview for Martin Gould and Ashley Carty
  • Fixes to reported bugs and crashes, including incorrect rule calls, points remaining display, fouls
  • Changes to the ‘Rocket Fuelled’ Trophy/Achievement
  • Online fix for dark tables caused by a lighting issue in a small percentage of online matches

Toisen kauden Riga Mastersin karsinnan tänään vedin. Puhdas 4-0 voitto ja ekaan freimiin 57 ja 44 breikit, toiseen 69 breikki.
Kyl aika hakusessa kaikki on.

Toivottavasti päivityksen jälkeen saa sen uuden pro+ tähtäyksen myös onlineen, koska sit ei pitkät ole enää varmoja.
 
Tässä lopullinen 10 päivä ilmestyvän päivityksen tiedot, tuleeko joku vetää sit pro + tähtäyksellä custom matsin esim paras 7:stä?

Indian Openissa pääsin finaaliin, jossa O'Sullivan oli parempi 3-5 luvuin. Sitten vuorossa China Championship, jossa puolivälierissä kaadoin Selbyn tosi jännässä pelissä 5-3. Välierissä vastaan Robertson, joka kaatui yhtä jännittävän pelin jälkeen 6-4.

O'Sullivan jälleen finaalissa vastaan. Pelaan pelit neljän freimin jaksoissa, joista ensimmäisen jälkeen peli oli mulle 4-0! Parin tunnin tauon jälkeen viidenteen 137 breikki, mikä sekoitti O'Sullivanin lopullisesti. Toisen jakson jälkeen lukemat 8-0! Kolmannessa O'Sullivan pelasi ensimmäistä kertaa omalla tasollaan tehden kaksi voittavaa breikkiä, mutta vuorotellen voitettujen freimien jälkeen Robinin uran ensimmäinen ranking turnausvoitto murskaavasti 10-2! Rahaa 150 000 puntaa ja rankingissa sijoitus jo 19. Olin kyllä hieman pettynyt, kun mitään palkintoseremoniaa ei ollut.

Otteluiden alut ovat nähtävästi erittäin isossa roolissa. Olin Robertsonia vastaan 0-2 tappiolla ja vaikka nousin 3-2, 4-3 ja 5-4 johtoasemiin niin Robbon peli pysyi alusta loppuun tasokkaana. O'Sullivan taas ei päässyt avausjaksossa vauhtiin ollenkaan ja 137 breikki tauon jälkeen mursi selkärangan lopullisesti, vaikka jätin siitä lähtien mahdollisuuksia, joita Ronnie käytti sitten kolmannessa jaksossa.
 
Uusi päivitys ulkona ja nyt oli hyvä pätsi. Valaistus parempi, tekoäly parempi, pro+ tähtäys ihan kuningas.

Nyt myös kaverin kanssa online matsin valinnat näyttää tältä:

Uusi pätsi aiheutti ilmeisesti niille joilla oli matsi tallennettu kesken, sen että ura ei toiminut ollenkaan.
Nyt yöllä oli tullut hotfix 1.07, jonka seuraksena mulla ei lähde peli enää päälle. 1.06:lla toimi ongelmitta.
Tutulla sit taas ei toiminu just ura 1.06:lla ja nyt hotfixin myötä toimii kaikki.

Odotellaan taas uutta hotfixiä sit..

Update 1.09 - Available Today

Update 1.09 will release today on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and will directly address a selection of reported issues. These include:

  • Increased visibility of aiming aids
  • Fix for leaderboard resets
  • General bug fixes
We believe that the changes we’ve made in update 1.09 will address the leaderboard reset issue but we’ll continue to monitor the tournament leaderboard and your feedback closely. Thank you so much to everybody who provided feedback on this issue and responded in detail to our survey. We’re really sorry for the inconvenience caused and if you do experience any further problems please let us know.

Next Update - In Progress

The next update we’re working on will address a substantial amount of community feedback and includes the trophy celebrations. We’re looking forward to sharing more details with you and in the meantime please keep sharing your feedback with us.

Next Online Tournament - Yushan World Open

The Yushan World Open online tournament starts in-game on Monday 5th August and will run until Sunday 11th August. This tournament will be operating with the Pro aiming aid. Future tournaments may change to Pro+ and we’d love more feedback on this topic.

Thank you to everyone that took part in the survey, it was really useful for us to hear directly from the community and we spent a lot of time working through the feedback provided. The results indicate that there is not a clear solution to address the request for changes to online tournament aiming aids. There was only a 2% difference between the number of players requesting Pro, and the number of players requesting Pro+ to be used as the default tournament aiming aid. We are looking to implement a test tournament using Pro+ to gather more feedback and would like to hear your thoughts on this.

Master Aiming Aid

With Pro+ being so popular, we are currently working on creating a ‘Master+’ aiming aid that will be added to the game alongside the default ‘Master’ aiming aid that’s been there since launch. The addition of Master+ will come in a future update, so we’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback on Pro+ and what you want from Master+ in the meantime.

Snooker 19 sai uuden päivityksen ja pari todella isoa juttua jotka on itseä ärsyttänyt, on nyt tuotu mukaan, minkä lisäksi tuotu Master + tähtäys...pro plus on jo itselle todella vaikea. Hyvä, että lisäsivät online turnauksiin pro+ tähtäyksen. Kaikki muutokset:
We've been busy working on the next update for Snooker 19 and are happy to share that it releases today on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. As part of Update 1.10 we’ve added new content and improved the game experience based on community feedback, so thank you as always for your ongoing support.

New Features:

New Master+ aiming aid added offering a greater challenge than Master
Added option to reposition the cueball after it has been placed
Added option to re-nominate a colour after a colour has been nominated
New player celebration scenes for winning in semi-finals and finals
Revised intro sequences have been added to Career Mode matches
Intro sequences have been refined
Players now chalk their cues during gameplay
New game intro video added
Online Tournament aiming aid changed to Pro+ based on player feedback
Paul Hunter Classic online tournament start date has been brought forward
General Bug fixes, including:

Commentary and crowd reaction improvements
Character animation improvements
Fix for undue “timeout” in long-lasting online matches
Fix for online tournament trophy cabinet (all Trophies unlocked will now display correctly)
Baulk line visibility improved
Scrolling leaderboard issue fixed

The patch is now available on Steam and will be rolling out across PS4 and Xbox One later today. Update 1.10 will be releasing for Nintendo Switch shortly after the game launches on 23rd August, and we will share the confirmed release date for the Switch version of 1.10 as soon as we can.

peli ilmestyy myös tällä viikolla nintendolle. Ostoon se menee, mutta koska juuri tällä hetkellä ei ole tarvetta nintendo versiolle, niin odotan jotain seuraavaa reissua et haluan sen mukaan, tai sitten alennusta.
 
Ikävä bugi sattui, kun olin karsinut itseni European Masters turnaukseen, mutta turnauksen koittaessa peli väitti että olen hävinnyt karsintapelin. Turnauksen tiedoissa kuitenkin luki "Qualified" ja näin lukee myös omassa seurannassa. Se turnaus jäi nyt kuitenkin välistä.

Jotain ongelmia siis ilmeisesti tuossa tietyssä turnauksessa. Itsellä muuten aika yksitoikkoinen ja epärealistinen voittajalista tähän mennessä, O'Sullivan ja Selby voittaneet muistaakseni kaikki turnaukset tähän mennessä sitä omaa voittoa lukuunottamatta. Edelleen AI lyö takamaskilyönnit pallosta läpi, mutta muuten peli tuntuu jopa kehittyneen tässä välissä. Täytyy tosin odotella jotain kovaa vastustajaa, josko heilläkin lyöntivalinnat ja pitkät ovat nykyisin aidompia.

Pelasin muuten yhden karsintapelin tässä äsken, jossa yhden freimin ratkaisu tapahtui mustalla. Tuomari alkoi siinä ripittämään harvalukuista kiinalaisyleisöä liikehdinnästä tai metelistä tärkeällä hetkellä, ihan hauska lisäys peliin.
